Anomalous charge transport of superconducting CuxPdTe2 under high pressure

By means of high-pressure resistivity measurements on single crystals, we investigate the charge transport properties ${\mathrm{Cu}}_{x}{\mathrm{PdTe}}_{2}$, notable for combination topological type-II Dirac semimetallic with superconductivity up to ${T}_{c}=2.5\phantom{\rule{0.16em}{0ex}}\mathrm{K}$. In both pristine $(x=0)$ and intercalated $(x=0.05)$ samples, find an unconventional ${T}^{4}$ power law behavior low-temperature visible $\ensuremath{\sim}40$ K remarkably stable under pressure 8.2 GPa. This observation is explained by low carrier density $n$, which strongly reduces $k$ region available electron-phonon scattering, as previously reported in other low-$n$ two-dimensional systems, such multilayer graphene semiconductor heterostructures. Our data analysis complemented specific heat supported previous quantum oscillation studies ab initio calculations suggests a scenario one-band transport. Within this scenario, our yields large value coupling constant ${\ensuremath{\lambda}}_{tr}=1.2$ at ambient that appears be enhanced assuming effective mass.
